What Are Word and Voice Clone Top-Ups?

Written by Gerard Smith

Word and voice clone top-ups let you buy extra usage for your Narration Box account without changing your subscription plan.

Your plan includes a monthly allowance for words and voice clones. If you need more, you can buy a top-up from your Usage page and continue creating.

There are two types of top-ups:

Word top-ups
Word top-ups add extra words to your account. You can use them for voiceovers, audiobooks, narrations, podcasts, video scripts, and other audio projects.

Voice clone top-ups
Voice clone top-ups add extra voice clone capacity to your account. Voice clone top-ups are sold as packs. Each pack adds 5 voice clones.

Purchased top-ups roll over. This means unused purchased words and unused purchased voice clone capacity stay available in your account after your billing cycle ends.

Your included monthly allowance is used first. After that, Narration Box uses your purchased top-up balance.

Top-ups are useful when:

  1. You are working on a large audiobook.

  2. You need more words before your monthly allowance resets.

  3. You want to create more voice clones.

  4. You are producing content for multiple projects or clients.

  5. You need temporary extra usage without upgrading your plan.

You can check your included balance, purchased balance, total available usage, and recent top-up purchases from the Usage page.

Top-ups are available for active paid subscriptions. If you are on a free plan, upgrade to a paid plan before buying top-ups.
